Hi,

you're fully embedded into the Google ecosystem right now, so why not go with a Google Home. Except maybe in 2 years you fancy getting an Amazon product say. Sonos will let you use Google Assistant today and have the option of using Alexa in the future if you wanted.

A Sonos will even let you own devices across ecosystems! Use Google Assistant but AirPlay music from your iPad, etc.

None of these products have an edge over Sonos with sound quality either, so really the only reason I see is price. Sure an Echo Dot or Home Mini is $49, but these aren't speakers, and they'll work with a Sonos setup anyway.

So why spend 100s or 1000s of $s on good speakers that ecosystem lock you, when you can go with Sonos and futureproof?
